Intellectual Property (IP) Consultations - Overview

 

            In an Intellectual property consultation, I can discuss IP (e.g., patent, trademark, copyright,  etc) topics that you are interested in.

 

  • The fee for a 1 hour in-person consultation is $150.  The fee for a telephone consultation is $125/hr. 

 

            Client meetings are held in a private conference room at the Jenkins law library:

  • Confict of Interest Check -- Also, if you are involved in lawsuit please list the parties and dispute. Also, if you are currently represented by an attorney or were previously represented by an attorney in the matter you are consulting on, please explain.  I need this information to do a "conflict of interest" check to make sure I can represent you.
  • Please fill out this form and send to me  - I will review and confirm that I do not have a conflict.

 

  • Next, please fill out, sign and return the consultant engagement
        agreement (PDF)   (Word).

 

  • You can return the engagement agreement and fee to me by:
    • US postal mail me the signed agreement, and a check for $150 (or ($125 for one hour phone consultation) or  

 

    • Alternatively, you can reply back to my email with the agreement and state in the reply that you agree to the agreement.  and you can make payment by credit card on this website

                I will then contact you to arrange for the consultation.
    Please do not send me any confidential information until after the agreement and retainer are accepted and we discuss and agree.

     

              

     

    Please note that an attorney-client relationship is created only with a signed written engagement agreement between the firm and the client and a retainer accepted by the firm.
